Mr Cheok Kia Yeong is the Manager / Specialist of Corporate Affairs Division of Maju Expressway Sdn Bhd (MESB). He joined MESB on 18^th April 2023. He is a chartered accountant with the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA). His diverse portfolio also extends to financial planning, holding licenses in Life, Corporate, General Insurance and Takaful Planning. Previously, he occupied key positions, beginning as a Chief Accountant in a prominent listed steel-making company in Malaysia, He then extended his career as a former Senior Manager at EY, a global professional services firm.

As a seasoned professional accountant, his portfolio encompasses corporate strategic planning, financing and financial reporting. During his tenure in auditing and consultancy, he has accumulated experience in corporate financing, where he has played an integral role in raising the necessary capital and IPO. He has contributed to finance restructuring and IPO processes in China and Indonesia’s conglomerate.

Mr Cheok’s remarkable contributions are not limited to finance; his expertise in process mapping and internal control is evident from his prior experience in conducting Sarbanes – Oxley compliance system in Southeast Asia for a worldwide petroleum company. His sophisticated career background positions him as a valuable asset in both financial and corporate arena.
