Central to the efficient management and comprehensive traffic surveillance is the state-of-the-art Traffic Control and Surveillance Centre (TCSC). TCSC is an extensive traffic management system, serving as the nerve centre for all traffic information on MEX. It is manned by Traffic Controllers who plays active roles in collecting, processing and disseminating information, especially related to real-time traffic updates, emergency assistance and traffic enforcement execution.<\/p>\n

TCSC services include:<\/p>\n

1.  Managing MEX 24-hours telecommunication service. TCSC can be contacted through MEX Helpline \u2013 03 8315 9111. MEX Ronda or Provost and MEX Medic are then immediately dispatched to the intended location for assistance.<\/li>\n
2. Disseminating information and real-time traffic events through Variable Message Signage (VMS).<\/li>\n
3. Communicating with authorities and emergency services such as PDRM, Fire Brigade and Ambulance.<\/li>\n
4.  Coordinating with PDRM Traffic for alternative route coordination during road closure.<\/li>\n
5. Monitoring traffic activities through Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
