25th July 2016 – Implementation of contra flow at MEX Highway will continue due to the positive impact on the traffic flow on the MEX Highway<\/p>\n

Since its implementation on July 25, 2016, it has been able to disperse the congestion along the 4km to 2km at the main lane MEX only on major routes. It also contributes to shorter journey times, which is 10 minutes faster than usual. The average daily number of vehicles using the route counter is for 2,800 vehicles from 6.30 am until 9.00 am except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.<\/p>\n

The implementation of the contra flow is essentially an effort to increase the flow of traffic accommodate increased traffic flow of Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and Puchong in Kuala Lumpur.
\nUsers are advised to comply with the signage placed and routed to their destinations well to avoid congestion.<\/p>\n
